Ashley DeBella-Marques is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition and Masters of Science from the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford, CT. She attended Sacred Heart University during her first year of college where she ran on the Division 1 cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. Ashley spent over 5 years as the dietitian at the Institute of Living’s eating disorder partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Ashley ran nutritional groups and provided nutrition consultation for schizophrenia rehab programs, young adult and child and adolescent programs. Ashley has also worked as a consultant dietitian at the Newport Academy and worked as a clinical dietitian at Turnbridge – the preeminent addiction and mental health disorder treatment facility in New Haven, CT. Ashley developed Food is Fuel, LLC in 2013 where she employs an individualized approach comprised of nutritional science and therapeutic techniques to promote well-balanced eating and wellness. She also holds specialist certification as a certified eating disorder registered dietitian (CEDRD) and is currently attending Fairfield University’s Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition Program.
